Possible recording over the winter holiday, or perhaps once the academic year comes to a close. The band still would like to record a rough CD of our favorite covers and the originals we were unable to include on "All the Happy Bunnies".....Nothing official, nothing imminent, I'm just bored at college and wanted to do a website update :)

Well folks, the time has come to say goodbye. After a wild two and a half year ride, the members of North It Is will be packing up our instruments and amplifiers and heading off to college. For all intents and purposes, after our show at Amy Warrington's on August 13th, the band will go into retirement.

We are glad to have been able to survive so long with limited controversy and pretty good success. The bands debut (and only) album "All the Happy Bunnies" was completed and went on sale in June 2005. As we head off for college, fewer than a dozen copies of the CD remain, making its creation a huge success.

In our two and a half years of existence, North It Is has sold over three dozen band T-shirts, nearly 100 CD's, been featured multiple times in a local newspaper, been a regular act at a local bar (who can forget the f'in Ground Floor..), won two Battle of the Band competitions, and played countless parties. Sometimes it's amazing how far we've come since our first ever show at the Rising Sun Talent contest in 2003.

We thank everyone who has ever been to a show, purchased a CD or T-shirt, or supported us in any other way. You have all made this fun, and as I look back, I can't think of a better way to have spent these past couple years. From the basements of Colton and Billy to the stage of the Ground Floor and the recording studio, it has truly been a blast. We thank you.

You never know...maybe you'll see us again.

North It Is would like to thank it's most faithful followers for all their support.
